I am starting a new blog titled, <em>Growing Up in the South<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me introduce myself: My name is Lydia Cameron. I enjoy spending time with my family, attending tea parties, and spending a pleasurable evening visiting with others on my porch. I love singing, and spent several years performing publicly. I enjoy reading and listening to audio books. I love writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am nearing the completion of my first book, <em>Whispering Night<\/em>. I will elaborate on my book at another date in time. Today I am simply here to introduce myself and tell you what you might expect from this blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of my posts will consist of two parts. The first will be a fact or tale from my days growing up in the Southeastern United States. The second part will consist of my own personal thoughts in conclusion. I plan to post on Wednesdays. I want this blog to be something fun and interesting \u2013\u2013 that little bit of boost to get us over the hump of mid-week blues.
